ABOUT US

The Riel Love Foundation non-profit federally approved tax-exempt organization established in July of 2020. is a service organization established in July of 2020 to bring hope to people in need through radical acts of kindness.   This foundation was started to honor the memory of my only son Zuriel Kieran Overby Robinson whose heart stopped suddenly on Sunday, May 31st, 2020.  He was a well-built athlete who outwardly appeared to be strong and healthy but apparently had an enlarged heart which had gone undetected and contributed to his Sudden Cardiac Arrest.  He and two of his closest cousins were doing football drills in the park to train his nephew and younger cousin when he collapsed.

Although my heart was broken by my son’s early transition home, I am profoundly grateful that he left this world the same way he lived it “mentoring and helping others”.  Although his physical heart stopped that day, his heart to serve lives on in that he was an organ donor.  He was able to donate his liver, both kidneys, skin from his back and thighs.  His father Garry Robinson and I were blessed with a wonderful son who was an awesome example of “LOVE” in demonstration!

Zuriel was always giving, helping, and encouraging others.  He was a light in this world uplifting and inspiring the young and old with his bright smile, energy, wisdom, genuine friendship, huge personality, love for life and willingness to lend a helping hand.  Every time an act of kindness, compassion, generosity, or charity is performed or inspired through this foundation it causes Zuriel’s light to shine even brighter and continues his legacy of “LOVE”.

The Riel Love Foundation serves as a reminder that what each one of us does daily matters!  The most rewarding way to live our lives is to be a light by giving ourselves to the service of others.  For when we are serving others, we are  undoubtedly serving God.

"Verily I say unto you, in as much as you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me."   -Matthew 25:40
